Frail Care Service Opened

IMASA [Johannesburg Branch] has launched a Frail Care Project in the central Johannesburg region. Partnering with AWQAF-SA the services are aimed at assisting the elderly, the frail, and those recuperating and rehabilitating from an illness or hospitalization. Our teams of dedicated volunteers are trained as caregivers with St Johns and are equipped to provide safe home based care at every visit. They will have the added support of the vast expertise of doctors that serve on the Islamic Medical Association should the caregivers need advice or assistance.

Frailcare flyer2The IMA-Johannesburg Branch and AWQAF-SA have also initiated a service of providing medical equipment for rental to the community. These can be used on loan by patients at a minimal cost and will be available from the IMASA Jhb Branch Auckland Park premises.
