For the past 7 years Awqaf SA has worked with Youth during the month of Ramadaan to deliver iftaar meal packages to our brothers and sisters in townships around Cape Town.
The project is coordinated by youth ranging from as young as 5 to 19. For the past 7 years we have partnered with local organisations like the MJC and Boland Islamic Council as well as the International Turkish Humanitarian Foundation IHH. This year we aim to provide over 2000 individual Iftaar Meal packs.
We invite all Awqaf SA Ambassadors and the youth to assist with the packaging of the iftaar meal packs this Saturday 4th July 2015 at Sid G Rule Primary School Hall, 8th Avenue Grassy Park from 9am.
Distribution to the areas will take place thereafter and continue on Sunday 5th July.
